Welcome to my blog. I’m so glad you stopped by! My name is Sarah and I am excited to share my adventures, stories, musings, tips, and tricks with you.

I love Jesus, nature, travel, home decor, my house plants, and coffee.

I named my blog ThistleLark, after the plant and the bird. Together, they symbolize life, which is a beautiful combination of the bad and the good. If you have ever had thistle in your garden, you will know how painful their spiny, prickly leaves are. The lark, on the other hand, sings a beautiful melody as it dances and floats along. They remind me there is always beauty, even in the tough times, we just have to look for it.
